Accenture HR training centre,

Our delegates really enjoy our NLP courses and find them tremendously valuable.   There is very little that you need to do beforehand, however, please continue reading!

You must register a place using  our seminar registration system.

If you have any questions, please call 01908 506563 and leave a message, we’ll get back to your shortly.

Please note that all full NLP courses and seminars are held at the Accenture Training Centre, Milton Keynes.  However, NLP taster sessions (which are now FREE) are held at artworks-mk, Milton Keynes and Regent’s College in London.

Please also note that meals (except lunch - lunch is provided) and overnight accommodation are NOT included in the seminar fees.

We aim to create an environment where you can have an enjoyable 2-3 days and learn as an active participant.  To help you get the most out of your time, please consider the following:

Dress Code

There is no formal dress code for our seminars.  Dress comfortably.

Preparation

Treat the seminar as the beginning of an adventure, come to have fun, to learn and explore.  You may choose to read one or two nlp books or listen to some nlp cd's, but that’s not essential.

It is important that you come with an open attitude and watch and listen in order to make up your own mind.  We let you borrow a selection of books during the seminar, so you can choose further reading later if you wish.

Start times

On the first day, we strongly suggest you arrive by 9:30am so you are not rushed.  The seminar will begin at 10.00am.

On subsequent days, the seminars begin at 9am.  We normally end each day at 5pm.  We will give time for those that are interested to stay and ask questions or watch some NLP videos.

On the final day, we aim to finish by 4pm.

Accommodation

For your convenience, the Accenture Training Centre has its own accommodation and we recommend this during your stay, please contact telephone 01908 358040 to book.

A low cost and surprisingly good alternative choice is the Premier Lodge at Caldecotte (0870 990 6558)  or the Premier Lodge at Furzton Lake (0870 990 6396) closer to Milton Keynes station.

Some delegates like to stay at the Milton Keynes Hilton (01908 694433) about 400 yards away. Or finally The Broughton a friendly (new) lodge hotel with a 'Hungry Horse' restaurant is another possibility.

Maps

For details of how to get to the Accenture HR Training Centre, Swallow House, Kent's Hill Park please see:

http://www.ppi-nlp-store.com/maps.htm, please be aware there may be a slight delay at Swallow House reception.

Manuals

You will receive a Practitioners’ Manual - which applies to all Practitioner seminars, together with an individual set of exercises for the Master Practitioner Modules. Please hold on to the manual! – It is a very useful reminder of your training.

Trust the Process

The content of the seminars has been modeled from exceptional communicators. Trust the process.  The key capabilities we suggest that you focus on are:

§  Set well-formed and considered outcomes

§  Demonstrate behavioural flexibility

§  Notice the results you achieve

We strongly recommend that you play with all of the exercises that we offer, but do let us know if something really doesn’t ‘feel right’.

Learning Style

Our approach is to demonstrate, get you to do an exercise, evaluate the result, and then give feedback. We are interested in how things work and what works rather than why things work.

This can be a real challenge to delegates with a 'theoretical' learning style - we ask you to stay with us. We are more interested in helping you get the exercises into the ‘muscle’ memory, because this will enable you to do things in practice, after the seminar has ended.

Feeling uncomfortable

You may at times feel uncomfortable and/or confused.  This is part of the learning process, but it’s how you react to the states of discomfort and confusion that’s important.  It’s one of our goals to ensure that you leave in a positive state, so let us know if we’re not on track.

Some of our best practitioners felt a bit confused at the end of the foundation seminar, but still chose to continue to other modules, and gained out of the experience because of it. Sometimes you need to 'unlearn' what you've been taught before in order to benefit from the new training.

In the end it’s what works for you that is most important.

Class Size

We don’t oversell our seminars and we generally like to keep class sizes small.  However, we will run the seminar still if the numbers are very low.  Some of our delegates travel a long way to attend our NLP seminars; so don’t be concerned if the numbers are low, benefit from the situation instead. You will be genuinely delighted with what you learn!

Evening sessions

We run evening sessions of either videos or additional exercises as part of our seminars on the middle days of our seminars. These are totally voluntary and normally last about 2 hours after the main session ends.

Want help?

Our trainers are all friendly and approachable; we’re here to help, so please just ask!

Feedback

We are open to feedback, although we do not use feedback forms at the end of any course.

In the unlikely event you're unhappy for any reason let us know there and then – please do not wait until the end of the seminar!

After any seminar has finished we would be delighted if you completed our on line NLP course feedback form

What's next?

A strong point with our seminars is that you can use them as a communications 'top up' and just enjoy the process, or else as the starting point to become a master of the process. If it’s the later we do recommend further reading, listening and seminars.  We can provide further information on any of these at any stage for you.

Contact details

Please leave messages for PPI Business NLP on 01908 506563. We check our phone messages up to 15 minutes before seminars begin, so if you need to speak with us, please do call.

To reserve a place you must register on our seminar registration system. This is essential as we use these details to confirm attendees and contact delegates in the very exceptional case of any changes of time and date etc.
